Theresa May's government has proposed a vote on the Withdrawal Agreement, looks like its scheduled at 1430GMT
- In a nutshell it sets May 22 as the exit date
- If parliament consents then the date will be effectively) locked in.
- If parliament rejects it (and with the DUP saying it will not be supporting the bill that looks the most likely scenario at present) then a longer extension will be likely and the UK gets to vote in EU elections (yeah, farcical).
Oh, adding this in … BBC report on the intricacies (such a mess): Brexit: What happens now?
If the bill passes today May will resign on May 22!
