Bonds more lively than stocks today

S&P 500 opens 2 points higher to 2163

Earnings, overbought conditions, geopolitical worries and falling oil prices are driving the push-and-pull in the stock market today. It's led to a virtual standstill in trading.

Bonds, meanwhile, are showing some very early signs of a turn. US 10-year yields hit 1.60% on Friday before falling back to 1.55% late after the Turkey blowup. Yields pushed towards the topside again earlier but have once-again fallen back.

The highs come near the 61.8% retracement of the Brexit flop.
