Further comments by BOJ board member Makoto Sakurai

  • US trade policy is a source of concern
  • Protectionist moves not only create concern for Japan, but for global economy

Pretty much in line with what Kuroda and the BOJ has been mentioning and that there is no need for a change to the yield curve control (YCC) policy for the time being.
