BOC holds steady; Persistent C$ strength a risk to growth

The economy may grow faster than expected in the second half, the BOC said. Despite that, the persistent strength of the CAD is a risk to growth and the Bank threatened to use “unconventional monetary measures” to counter that strength. That is QE, folks.
