Hot on the heels of the cautionary Italian forecasts comes this more upbeat report on the Spanish economy which has certainly picked up a tailwind in recent times.
Meanwhile the euro enjoying mixed fortunes with EURUSD holding firm around 1.1360 but EURGBP falls below 0.7800 in a rush as GBP buyers return. and cable posts 1.4580 from 1.4525.
