Australian PPI for Q1 of 2019: 0.4% q/q (prior 0.5%) and 1.9% y/y (prior 2.0%)

At the same time as the PPI data we got the terms of trade info for Q1, on a separate post.

Not much inflation at the producer level under. The the extent this shows CPI pressure 'in the pipeline' well, there isn't much.

Out at the same time:

• Australian Q1 Import price index -0.5% q/q (expected 0.4%) & export price index 4.5% q/q (expected 3.5%)
