Australian politics - spill motion doesn't succeed

- 61 against (the motion to declare the leadership vacant)
- 39 for
- (one informal, one MP absent)
Aussie PM Abbott lives to fight another day ... but severely wounded by this big vote of lack of confidence... just on 40% on MPs voted against Abbott.
Don't go too far away .... its over for today but not for too much longer I wouldn't think.
