The market focus is on the NFP out of the US tonight, but ahead of then this is how the orderboards on the AUD/USD are looking:
- Offers 0.9010/20
- Offers 0.8970/80, some offers at 0.8960
- Bids at 0.8905/10 – these have been, and continue to be, quite large. While the USD had a strong overnight the AUD held well against it due to these bids. There is plenty of selling still being done too, though, so its a battle.
- A break of 0.8895 will see stop loss selling orders hit, though there are more bids 0.8880/00.
- The large bids lower in AUD/USD are said to be barrier-option (0.8900 and at 0.8880) related.
