- fell 3.8pts in April
- to a near four-year low of 102.9, 15.7pts below its level of a year ago
Comments from the report, not encouraging:
- The fall in Business Confidence following a Federal Budget is not unusual with the index now falling in eight out of the last nine years following the Budget.
- Roy Morgan Business Confidence continues to under-perform early in 2019 with an average rating so far this year of 105.3 a full 10pts below the monthly average of 115.3 during 2018.
