The ANZ/Roy Morgan weekly survey of consumer confidence in Australia, battered by the ongoing outbreak and lockdown in Sydney, ticks up a touch this week.
The previous week's result was its lowest since November 2020.
ANZ comment:
- restrictions were lifted from Victoria and SA. Confidence in their capital cities improved by 2.0% and 2.9% respectively
