In the Australian Financial Review this morning:
- Australian steel and aluminium are set to be exempt from harsh US import tariffs
- PM Turnbull and Finance Minister Cormann lobbied US President Donald Trump, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and other officials on the sidelines of the G20 summit
- Turnbull and Cormann made the case again in another meeting with Mr Trump, Mr Mnuchin and US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, and then in a separate meeting between Cormann and White House chief economic adviser Cohn
