Australia PM Morrison: No 'broader, larger' fiscal stimulus in response to virus outbreak

It looks like the RBA will have to do most of the heavy lifting

Not exactly the kind of words that will comfort the aussie and yields amid growing concerns about the virus outbreak internationally. But we'll see if things change down the road.

The RBA meets next week with odds of a rate cut only sitting at 10%. If they want to get ahead of the curve and tell the market that they mean business, there is no better time.

But then, with rates already so low this just brings us one step closer to QE so..
