Home loans jump again

Australia owner-occupied loan values
  • Loans rose 10.7% in July
  • Investment housing finance +9.3% m/m
  • Total home loans rose 12.6% m/m vs +1.9% exp

There was similar jump in July as first-time home buyer lending rose to its highest since 2009. There have been big concerns about the Australian real estate market but it seems as if the low-rate tonic is working.
