Australian building approvals report:

  • Prior was +7.6% (revised to +7.2%)
  • Approvals -23.6% y/y vs -18.0% expected
  • Prior was -19.0% y/y (revised to -17.0%)

Those are some dismal numbers and this chart isn't a pretty picture:
