Australia manufacturing PMI for April: 50.9 (prior 52.0)

This is the 'final' CBA/Markit Manufacturing PMI for April, comes in at

CBA/Markit have been tracking their manufacturing PMI since 2016 … this is the lowest result for it ever.

Still in expansion, just not so much.

Earlier we got the Australian Industry Group performance of Manufacturing Index, the first of the April manufacturing PMIs from Australia. That showed substantial improvement:
