We are just a little under an hour away from today’s only big economic report, Australian Retail Sales.
According to estimates, economists expect December’s retail sales to increase 0.3% compared with a 0.1% decline in November. The data will be released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics at 11:30 a.m. local time (7:30 p.m. ET).
According to some chatter, traders are not expecting to see a big move in AUD/USD following the report. The cross has been under pressure today and is hovering around 1.0387.
