The market was unable to trigger heavy stops above 1.0770 yesterday and I’ve heard that the supply out of Asia in particular was very heavy. US investment banks bought heavily in their attempts to trigger stops but to no avail. It’s Friday and an NFP day, so markets might get more illiquid later, increasing the chances of those short-term stops getting triggered, but I fancy selling into that rally as I have a feeling that a medium-term top might soon be upon us? I don’t like picking particular levels on data days, I’d rather watch the market diligently and hopefully jump in when the time is ripe.
