US dollar catches a bid
The US dollar had been under pressure since the weekly open, before finally managing to find some demand on Thursday. Though the gains were mild, it was perhaps somewhat reassuring to see the dollar push up a bit after economic data in the lead up to Thursday had in many ways been quite supportive of the dollar.
