Fed Bullard downplayed risk of contagion, but this did nothing to calm the nerves of unsettled investors, with sentiment continuing to deteriorate. This was reflected in the most traditional of ways on Wednesday, with the Yen and Swiss Franc bid up along with the US Dollar.
