What moved markets on Monday
The US dollar managed to extend its run against the euro, pound, yen and gold, posting fresh 2018 highs against three out of the four of these markets, with only the yen having yet to retest its 2018 low. Unsurprisingly, commodity currencies went the other way and were better bid on the weekend news.
