The lowly loonie bounced back this week and was the best performing currency, beating EUR and CHF.
Despite a strong employment report, the Australian dollar was easily the laggard as Stevens and Ebbott jawboned the Aussie sharply lower yesterday.
On the week, AUD/CAD declined 2.06% or 194 pips. Technically, the pair broke the neckline of a muddy head and shoulders pattern that targets a re-test of the August low of 0.9172.
