If you are following along with Australian politics a quick update on the weekend election in the country's second most populous state:
- The incumbents were returned easily
- The party in opposition is the party in government at the Federal level in Australia, where much of economic policy for the country is set. The weekend result is not a positive for them, they face a general election by May 2019.
I doubt there will be much, if any AUD impact, but a heads up nonetheless
