GDPNow forecast cut
The Atlanta Fed now forecasts that US economic growth was just 1.4% in Q4, down from 1.5% a week ago.
That's fell below the 2.2% consensus after a sharp fall from 2.7% in early February and comes on soft retail sales and other indicators.
"After this morning's advance durable manufacturing report from the U.S. Census Bureau, the nowcast of fourth-quarter real nonresidential equipment investment growth declined from 4.5 percent to 3.9 percent," they wrote.
