Better news on growth
The latest GDPNow tracker from the Atlanta Fed rose to 2.73% from 2.31% on September 29.
"The forecasts for third-quarter real consumer spending growth and third-quarter real private fixed investment growth increased from 1.8 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, to 2.3 percent and 1.8 percent, respectively, after this morning's construction spending release from the U.S," the Atlanta Fed said.
Meanwhile, on Friday the NY Fed's tracker fell to 1.46% from 1.56%.
Still a long way to go until we get the first reading on Q3, followed by the endless revisions.
