Asia weighed down on recent sentiment
Asian equities faced headwinds from the close of yesterday's US session where weak consumer confidence, impeachment concerns around President Trump, and President Trump speaking in a hard line tone about China and Iran. The ASX is -0.34%, Nikkei -0.39%, Nikkei -0.41%, Hang Seng -0.95%,. and the Shanghai Composite -0.57%.
Japan's 10yr bonds were higher amid the negative risk tone as the pressure on yields resumed with the 10yr yield below -0.25% and the 5yr yield touching a record low.
