The FTSE is -0.25%, the DAX is flat and the CAC -0.75% as the morning session drifts to a close. Gold is continuing with it’s recent rally, up 0.7% on the day to $1225/oz.
The FX market is relatively quiet with the major pairings oscillating inside 30 pip ranges although the USD is generally weaker on the day.
