It's Spring wage negotiation time in Japan
Abe's government has announced that it has agreed overtime limits with the Keidanren and Rengo Unions.
It's at this time of year that a lot of Japanese industry starts negotiating on wages so keeping with the theme Eamonn reported on last night with Toyota, this goes into the mix too.
Looking at the wage numbers being reported, it may not seem wallet busting but Japan has continued to hike wages for the last few years so it all goes into the inflation pot.
Update: Just to add to the story above, Abe wants to have less that 100 hours a month overtime. Prior chatter said that they want to limit overtime to 60 hours per-month.
