As we enter the US election week, brokers are hiking margins
Just another FYI and a repeat of a post last week. Many brokers have been sending out messages about margin changes in certain markets, mostly to cover the US election next week.
IG and Saxo were two who were on the list but many others will be hiking them too. Most will come into effect from Friday.
If you haven't heard from your broker already, check their websites or prior correspondence so you don't have any nasty surprises come Monday next week.
