Not much today in terms of economic data
The main event today will probably be Trump's press conference at 1630 GMT (11:30 am ET). If he's focused on moving forward, growing the economy and working together that would be ideal for risk assets. If he's antagonistic and defensive then less so.
In terms of data, lone item is at 1500 GMT with the Canadian Ivey PMI. There was a time when it was a market mover but that's rarely the case anymore, in part due to the survey's volatility.
Other events include the 1530 GMT weekly US oil report and a 30-year bond sale.
The RBNZ decision is at 2000 GMT.
