More from Villeroy: ECB will start raising rates this summer

The messaging sure sounds like the ECB is conditioning markets to expect a rate hike some time in July by the latest. That's certainly going to be a notable step in terms of policy but so far, we're only seeing the hawks do the talking. There will be more of a move in markets if we do hear something similar from let's say Lagarde herself.
