Federal Reserve Bank of Boston President Susan Collins spoke earlier:

• Fed's Collins says interest rate policy to hold steady for now

A little more now:

• financial markets performing well
• financial markets continue to be liquid
• Federal Reserve credibility is critical to maintain stable prices

On that last point, I thought I saw a post earlier this week on the threat to Fed independence from Trump firing heads of independent bodies. I posted on the this way back in March:
