The Financial Times says Trump's tariffs are a 'shadow' over the US economy:
I thought a dark shadow was some sort of candlestick formation, but perhaps that's just me ;-)
Anyway, I haven't seen the details of the article (Financial Times is gated) but I'll see what I can dig up.
The FT is right insofar as the FOMC and Powell weren't upbeat. Equities loved it though!
