Chicago Fed Pres Goolsbee is speaking and says:
- PCE is not likely to be as sobering as the CPI numbers.
- We have moved to a period that looks like stable for employment to me
- Credit conditions have been fairly tight.
- He is nervous about potential for supply shocks.
- In 2018 tariffs didn't have a material impact on national inflation.
- So the more tears look like a Covid size shark the more nervous you should be
