ECB's Kazimir: We are ready to take any steps to secure price, financial stability

For now, the message is that they will do what it takes to maintain order in the financial system. As such, they are offering more of a "we cannot confirm nor deny" narrative on future rate hikes. But as soon as markets forget more about the recent banking turmoil, they might sense an opportunity to firm up a more hawkish tilt.
