Firms were divided on the impact of U.S. tariffs, with some saying the Japan–U.S. deal reduced uncertainty and improved the business outlook
Others saw a worsening outlook, factoring in the impact of U.S. tariffs
Some firms reported improved business conditions due to progress in passing on higher costs
Some firms saw conditions worsen from rising labour and distribution costs, and the risk of weaker consumption from higher prices
