Bessent is out with his second interview today, this time with Semafor. He said there's a very good chance Miran will be a voter at the September FOMC.
He also said that he plans to write a brief for the US solicitor general to file that defends Trump's tariffs.
It would be quite a twist if Miran voted to hold rates in September.
