Bank of Japan steps into the JGB market again - second unscheduled buying operation today

We had this early in the morning:

• Japanese Government Bond yields rising. Yield on 10 year JGB is above BOJ ceiling of 0.5%

With the hot tip:

• This'll prompt BOJ intervention (to buy 10yr JGBs).

And so it did:

• BOJ announces unscheduled bond buying operation

With limited impact, yields not dropping enough for the Bank. Thus the Bank of Japan has stepped in again, a second unscheduled JGB operation for Friday, 13 January.
