There is a report from Bloomberg that Fed Gov. Bowman, Vice Chair Jefferson, and Dallas Fed Pres. Logan are reportedly under consideration for the Fed chair.
Those names get added to former Fed Pres. Bullard and Marc Sumerlin, a former economic adviser to President George W. Bush who were added to Kevin Warsh, Kevin Hassett and Fed Governor Christopher Waller at the end of last week.
Jefferson was nominated by Pres. Biden in 2022. Bullard always seemed to want to be on the early side of easing and tightening. I am not sure how that would sit with Pres. Trump. Warsh, Hassett, Waller would all be doves.
I am not sure of Sumerlin or Logan.
