Weekend PBOC statement - will maintain prudent, flexible & targeted monetary policy

A statement on Saturday from the People's Bank of China.

• The Bank says it will maintain prudent, flexible and targeted monetary policy in H2 of this year. Will support growth.

I am yet to ever read of them pledging imprudent monetary policy.

• Weekend data - China PMI Manufacturing 50.4 (expected 50.8, prior 50.9) Non-manufacturing 53.3 (exp 53.3, prior 53.5)
