Trump to Warsh
Warsh lost out to Jerome Powell for the Fed top job but Trump has frequently blamed Powell for his woes and said this to Warsh:
"I could've used you a little bit here...why weren't you a little more forceful when you wanted that job?"
Keep that in mind in late-2021 when Powell's term is winding down.
Trump also lamented that US interest rates are too high.
