I've posted this under an 'education' tag 'cause one way of telling when a country is in an FX crisis is when the central bank governor says "No, we aren't!"
Nestor Espenilla is governor:
- We are definitely not in foreign exchange crisis
- Confident there will be no freefall situation with peso
- Says allowed the {PHP to adjust moderately and gradually, but central bank is firmly in control of exchange rate
