Kashkari told a story about when he joined the Treasury just before the crisis and said how a team of the Treasury, Fed and SEC went looking for where a crisis might occur. He admits that they looked banks or hedge funds blowing up but not at a national housing bust. He says that what keeps him up at night is not what we can see but what we can't see.
