Growth may be stronger than the data suggests says the Bundesbank

Latest German central bank monthly report

  • The German economy is still on a growth path

  • Industry is the significant driver of the economy currently

  • Industry is benefitting from both domestic and export demand

  • Jobs market situation is even better than previously reports in prior months

  • Construction weakened in Jan due to cold weather

  • It is remarkable that QE money is not flowing out of Germany to the rest of the Eurozone

I'm not sure why they would find it remarkable that money is not flowing out of Germany. 1. Their biggest bank is still under fire so is still having to tighten up operations, and 2, to which better country would money go to?
