Fitch has noted the percentage of home loan payments more than 30 days late has fallen to 1.36 in Q3 (vs. 1.54 in Q2), attribuitng this to:
- Unemployment remaining low
- Lower mortgage rates
The RBA has cut its Cash Rate Target by 175 basis points since November 2011.
