Powell ends his testimony.
At the end of his testimony. Powell said:
- I do see foreign risks as particularly relevant now
- as a reform would be a positive thing for the economy
- We are feeling some headwinds from slowing global growth
- Brexit should not have a big effect on economy but monitoring closely
He then was asked what patience means and he said:
Being patient means that the Fed is in no rush to make judgment on policy
So it seems the Fed is ok where policy is and where it is going.
