  • Financial conditions have tightened
  • Says that his forecast for US GDP growth has come down a bit
  • Trade tensions probably worsened China growth outlook
  • US unlikely to be immune to China growth slowdown

As a reminder, Kaplan isn't on the voting board for this year's FOMC but he will have a chance to voice out his views when the Fed meets to decide on rates.
