BOJ releases its Sakura report on the economies of domestic regions
The full report can be found here. No changes to the assessment on all 9 regions from the prior report. The BOJ meets later this month on 30 to 31 July, so the lack of change here pretty much shows that they currently view economic conditions at a standstill. All part of the mix ahead of the meeting. Nonetheless, the BOJ isn't expected to stray away from current monetary policy language anyway.
