BOE deputy governor in the spotlight on her family connections 7 March

• did not formally declare brother's role at Barclays to BOE before appearing at TSC
• takes full responsibility for oversight
• does not anticipate actual or potential conflict of interest will arise in the future
• will invite MPC, FPC and PRC to judge whether further steps are needed to manage potential conflict of interest

Vested interest issues at a central bank ? Surely not. lol.

I noted Hogg on the back foot here during her TSC appearance/interview prior to her being appointed.

Meanwhile GBPUSD has been down to test the next support/demand area at 1.2180 as per the ordeboard and bounced back to 1.2201. General USD demand prevailing still.
