BOE’s Bean sees reason for some optimism

‘Most particularly we’ve seen a big squeeze on households’ real spending power…..going forward that squeeze shouldn’t be so intense.’

I’d really love to know why.

Despite the Q3 GDP data, personally I find it difficult to get optimistic about the UK economy.
