BOE will raise rates when headwinds dissipate – Bank of England’s Broadbent

• Many factors have driven down neutral rate
• Neutral real rates likely to rise eventually
• Rate increases likely to be limited

Europe is one big headwind so if he’s waiting for that to dissipate he’d better pull up a comfy chair.
